Founded by Lisa Mandic, we are proudly NZ owned and managed (even though Lisa is originally from Australia!)

After over 20 years providing training through Activate Management, Lisa created Equip Learning to enable focused delivery of our learning solutions.

Lisa Mandic

Management consultant and learning specialist

Founder and Director of Equip (and Activate Management Limited), Lisa has over 25 years facilitating and consulting experience in NZ and 35 years business experience throughout Australasia.

Her passion for people development led her to establish Equip in 2021 when she saw a gap in the market for this unique style of learning.  Lisa’s style is practical and fun. She focusses on understanding the uniqueness of each person and organisation she works with and enjoys helping people succeed.

Dipika Chandra

Resource and learning facilitator

Having customised training with Lisa back in 2017 in a previous management role, Dipika’s passion for learning was ignited.  She brings a unique blend of corporate and small business experience to the table.

Dipika is equipped with a strong background in finance, IT, systems, process improvement and training roles with both local and global organisations.

Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her passion for personal and professional development.

Myriam Heynen

Employment relations consultant and facilitator

Passionate about imparting knowledge, Myriam has been involved in the design and delivery of training in all aspects of HR management for over 30 years.  Her goal is to improve understanding of and compliance with legislation within the employment space.

Paula Mitchell

Coach and facilitator

With over 15 years of experience as a Coach, Trainer and Consultant, Paula has a wealth of skills in personal and inter-personal communications, learning and development, and strategic oversight.  Internationally certified and experienced NLP Master Practitioner, and NLP Trainer. She is also certified as an mBIT Coach (multiple intelligences – Neuro-science) and Inner World Coach.

Arlene Nicholson

Learning and development specialist

Arlene has over 25 years experience in training and coaching others to be more effective in
business and leadership roles

Her purpose is to help people be more productive, to develop better relationships, and to thrive vs survive at work. Arlene is one of the few certified Positive Intelligence (mental fitness) coaches in NZ.

Debi Higson
