Offering a freebie (lead magnet) is a great way to grow your subscriber list. There are two ways to do this in MailerLite:

Send the freebie in the double opt-in confirmation email

1. Create a form (landing page, popup or embedded form) offering a free gift for joining your list.
2. Make sure double opt-in is turned on in your form settings.
3. Create an opt-in confirmation thank you page containing an external link or button to download the freebie.

Send the freebie in an automation workflow

1. Create a form (landing page, popup or embedded form) offering a free gift for joining your list.
2. Create an automation workflow triggered when a subscriber joins that group or completes that form.
3. Create an email in the workflow containing an external link or button to download the freebie.
