Who are our Fulfilling Role Programmes for?

Six standalone, aligned programmes, one for each kind of role.

Six programmes, one pathway

The six programmes are aligned and build on each other, so they work as a development map rather than six separate programmes.

That’s the practical side of talent mobility: it’s easy to see the competencies someone needs to flourish where they are, and the ones they’ll need next.

Your people can see where they’re going, and so can you.

A better way to grow capability

Our Fulfilling Role Programmes combine our deep organisational expertise with proven learning approaches to create lasting change.

People in your organisation aren’t just executing tasks. They’re capable of seeing what’s not working and making it better. But they need to know how to do this.

Our programmes teach people to:

Spot what’s not working – Recognise when processes, systems, or ways of working are creating problems or could be better

Understand why – See the underlying causes, not just symptoms

Make it better – Use the leverage their role gives them to improve conditions

Enable others – Create conditions where colleagues can succeed

  • Team Members improve processes, help colleagues, and contribute to better ways of working.
  • Emerging Leaders build the influence to improve the ways of working around them
  • Team Leaders remove obstacles, provide clarity, and create conditions where their team can deliver
  • Unit Leaders design effective systems, allocate resources well, implement changes and interpret organisational priorities for their team
  • Divisional Leaders create alignment, implement and contribute to strategy, remove organisational barriers, and enable their units to work together effectively
  • Organisational Leaders model and communicate desired organisational behaviour and direction, design strategies, structures and systems that create the conditions for organisational success and longevity

Everyone becomes a cultivator of better conditions,
not just an adapter to existing ones.

What happens when we learn together?

An individual learning, grows a capable individual. A team learning together, grows a team that works better.

Shared language. The same terminology and concepts across the group. Conversations get shorter, because nobody is translating.
Shared approaches. The same frameworks and methods, so problems get worked the same way whoever is holding them.
Cross learning. People learn as much from each other’s situations as from the facilitator. One person’s problem this month is someone else’s next month.
Relationships. Months of learning alongside each other builds trust that outlasts the programme, and it reaches across parts of the organisation that may rarely meet.
Organisational understanding. We connect the learning to your goals, your strategies and your processes, so people understand how your organisation works so they can work in the same direction.

This is organisational capability growing, not just individual development.

What usually gets in the way?

Many organisations struggle with the same challenges:

We meet you where you are, and equip your people for the impact their roles are there to have.

Our Four Pillars of Learning

Self-Directed Learning

Short, focused online modules that people complete in their own time. Practical, immediately applicable, and manageable alongside busy work schedules. Plus access to our Learning Hub for deeper dives and refreshing on fundamentals

Facilitator-led Learning

Expert support throughout the programme—facilitated training sessions, experiential activities, practice with feedback, Q&A sessions, and ongoing troubleshooting. Participants aren't left to figure things out alone.

Peer Learning

Monthly group practice sessions with colleagues in the same role. Participants share learning, support each other, and deepen their capability through discussion and practice.

Manager Involvement

When managers are involved in their people's development, learning accelerates. Every programme keeps managers in the picture. The enhanced programme goes further and develops them alongside their people.

Why this approach works

  • It’s manageable – Fits alongside work without overwhelming people

  • It’s practical – Every skill learned is applied immediately back at work

  • It’s relevant – Learning connects directly to your organisation’s goals, strategies, and processes

  • It’s social – Learning with others in your organisation creates support, accountability, and deeper understanding

  • It sticks – Learning over months, with practice and support, creates lasting capability

Enhanced Programme Everything in the standard programme, plus facilitated guidance and training for the managers themselves.

Managers can then work on connecting the programme to your goals and priorities, supporting the learning while it’s happening, and coaching for it back at work. The alignment piece, done properly.

“Financial literacy is really important for our people—both those who work with numbers, like QSs, and those responsible for financial results. The training has definitely improved awareness, sparked great questions, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

People are getting a lot out of it—it pulls together the many different pieces of finance in a way that makes sense, helping them see how everything connects. An unexpected bonus is the increased appreciation for what our finance team does, and how each person’s role impacts the wider business. We’ve seen improved compliance as a result.

Working with Equip is easy—they’re flexible, open, and great at tailoring the programme to suit our industry and business. I really enjoy working with them.”

Grant Judge, Dominion Constructors Ltd

“”‘“We choose to deal with Lisa and Equip as over the years (and many training sessions) they have consistently delivered excellent value for money.

It is apparent that Lisa has a wide and diverse knowledge and that important ability to be able to connect with people.  Additionally, Lisa has always been very generous and accommodating with her time and resources:  whether it be the initial meeting to discuss my teams’ training needs and distilling those conversations into a customised course, to following up post training and having a touch base session with participants to see how they are progressing.

In recent times Equip have been a great help with improving our training we deliver to customers. We are a software company and while we are very knowledgeable on our product, we are not professional trainers. The Train the Trainer course provided us with very valuable information, tools and tips for delivering training. And even better, we received very positive feedback from our customers after incorporating this learning into our courses.”

Jan Preston, Sysmex New Zealand Ltd

“Equip consistently design and deliver excellent training – our members love them! They learn practical business skills that work, from facilitators who understand them, their industry and their business.

Working with Equip is great – they’re flexible, professional, and nothing is ever too much trouble.  They fit in with what we need and provide real value.  It’s more than a service – it’s a partnership.”

Kim Preston, MTA (Motor Trade Association)

We had identified that our managers needed training as we were having issues with delegation of work, team engagement and core leadership skills such as emotional intelligence. I reached out to Lisa as I had previously attended a course that was facilitated by her and had really enjoyed her training style and hands on approach. Lisa was very accommodating and came up with a tailored solution for our business.

The workshop style course was a great mix of theory and practical activities which really helped our team to understand and apply the concepts that were taught.

We received very positive feedback from the team and we can see the difference in our managers post training. They have actively been applying the skills and have been pleased to add a few techniques to their ‘toolbelt’ especially around self leadership.

I would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone who wants a hands-on approach to training!
